Talented apprentice Ethan Brown made the move from Alice Springs to Victoria in 2015 and, two years later, has established himself as one of the country's most precocious talents in the saddle.
While he's apprenticed to Mick Kent and has ridden many winners for the Cranbourne horseman, much of his recent success has come since linking with the powerful Darren Weir stable aboard the likes of Twitchy Frank, Bondeiger and Prevailing Winds.
The teenager is yet to convert his hot metropolitan form into a Stakes victory, a feat that will well and truly be on his agenda during the Festival of Racing.
