"Racing isn't a beauty pageant but if it was, Mighty Boss would be near unbeatable thanks to his shiny chestnut coat and flaxen, blonde mane."
And that's not to say that he's all looks and no ability - far from it in fact. Mick Price's glamour colt sent shockwaves through racing last spring when he flashed home along the inside rail to win the Group 1 Caulfield Guineas (1600m) at 100-1.
The win all but assured his post-racing career in the breeding barn but before he retires to a life of luxury at stud, the son of Not A Single Doubt has a date with Melbourne's Festival of Racing, where he'll chase a second Guineas crown at Flemington on March 3.
Mighty Boss will be out to assure punters that his spring glory was no fluke and will also take in the G1 C.F. Orr Stakes (1400m) and Futurity Stakes (1400m) against the older horses this preparation.
